Our Purpose
To create evocative and soulful work that is as responsible and sustainable as is poetic and avant-garde. Through design, Amit builds worlds where human and non-human energies coexist, producing spaces where the rigidity between manmade and natural fade away.
Our Process
In Amit's works, honesty of expression along with tectonics, dimensions of phenomenology, metaphysics, and poetics are at the core that add a sense of meaning to his Architecture and play a pivotal role in captivating the human psyche. He strives to transcend the phenomena of Form and Function and to go beyond into the realm of Architectural Will.
He believes that, Form is a wrapper of Space within Space. Space itself being formless is then potent to manifest into infinite forms calling upon elements such as earth, water, fire and air.
Our Culture
We invite anyone who is passionate about architecture to apply for freelance collaborative work. Students are exposed a very specialized work experience focusing on technical skills coupled with poetic and philosophical underpinnings that are integral part of Architecture. This tacit to tacit transference of knowledge only occurs in a conducive environment that we strive to achieve in our studio setting. We work very closely with the interns during the design and documentation phase to ensure that the seed of design remains intact into the CD and the CA phases. We believe that this is rare opportunity that students have in our studio that was passed down to our studio directly from Louis Kahn’s lineage. We are grateful to have students who are willing to work in our studio.
